Galen Walters, Senior Partner / Founder - Strategic Thinking & Organizational Facilitation
A 38-year veteran of entrepreneurial business and retail marketing, Walters founded and led the highly successful print and marketing services firm, adplex, for more than 26 years. With annual sales of up to $130 million, Walters managed more than 850 employees, grew to become an industry leader, and ultimately developed his innovative management and leadership philosophies into a book on leadership due out in bookstores September 2008.

Walters founded Go Think! to share his passion for retail marketing, new technology and to assist others in creating an environment that allows business professionals to maximize their thinking and deliver results. He is a published author, a certified DiSC facilitator, teacher, speaker, and member of the board of directors for ABG, a $50 million California-based marketing company.

A sample of Mr. Walters’ brand experience includes Food Lion, Hewlett Packard, Hannaford, United Supermarkets, NASCAR, Randall’s (pre-Safeway), Sweetbay, H-E-B Central Market, Compaq, Safeway, American Airlines, Kroger, Albertsons, and ADVO. He attended Stephen F. Austin State University, and graduated from the Texas Academy of Art in Houston, specializing in creative design and pencil illustration.

Katie Mullins, Senior Partner, Brand Strategies and Marketing
With 20 years of experience in the advertising and marketing field, Mullins has developed into one of the top strategists in the country, specializing in brand placement, marketing plans, media planning, project management, production, and loyalty marketing. Her talents have taken her from New York to Washington to Houston with a primary focus on the food industry, packaged goods, wireless products and services, and multi-location retail.

Mullins has served as an executive vice-president, director of client services, and a chief marketing officer, managing accounts in excess of $50 million and supervising a team of more than 40 professionals. As a senior partner with Go Think!, Mullins continues her passion for brand strategy, straight talk, meaningful client relationships, and purpose-driven projects.

A sample of Mullins’ brand experience includes Verizon Wireless, H-E-B/Central Market, Minute Maid/Coca-Cola, Nokia, Beck’s Beer, Texaco, Texas Heart Institute, Houston Ballet, Popeye’s, Uncle Ben’s Rice, Houston Astros, and Safeway. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University.

Trudy Wilson, Senior Partner, Production Director
With 29 years graphic arts experience, Trudy has worked with Galen for over 19 years. She is responsible for all of the production art that gets generated for our customers. Trudy has deep experience in leading a production team and is a key partner at Go Think! Her keen attention to detail and diligence has proven time and again to be a great asset for the firm and for our customers. Today, Trudy is one of the three partners at Go Think!

Michael Starr, Senior Partner, Consulting
Michael specializes in finance, education, and business development, and with 21 years of consulting experience, has assisted clients ranging from small entrepreneurs to large multi-national corporations. His expertise lies in strategic business planning, reorganization for profitability, management systems, change planning and management, team-based management, behavioral analysis, and leadership development. He has experience as a partner, president, COO, and CEO, and has created and led custom leadership programs for more than 1,000 executives.

Charles Ingram, Color Specialist/Content Manager
Charles has worked with Galen for over 25 years. He started off working in the printing side of the business in file preparation and plate making, but soon discovered his knack for color. He worked as a color specialist in analog color for over 15 years, ultimately making the transition to digital. Charles managed our color department for several years and also ran our content management department. He is an expert with Photoshop and the color correction tools we utilize. He is also responsible for the content quality and operation of GoThinkCatalog!, our content management/collaboration tool.

Liz Morgan, Senior Project Manager
Liz has spent her marketing career working on a variety of larger retail clients such as Foleys, Macys and United supermarkets. She has worked in-house as well as for agencies. Her bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from the University of Texas at Austin makes her an extremely well rounded marketing professional that can write copy as well as manage customer relations and execution oversight.

John Dagley, Production Specialist
With 50 years of experience in the management of all aspects of printing for major retail clients like Safeway, Food Lion and HEB, John is a key part of Go Think! He understands retail at a very intuitive level, and as a result, ensures the best in customer services and attention to detail.

John believes in long-lasting relationships with his customers and colleagues- he has worked with Galen for 30+ years. Being able to tap into his vast production knowledge, and his solution-minded way of thinking is a tremendous asset.

Anna Giles, Senior Project Manager
Anna has been involved in the business of advertising for over 12 years. She has spent the majority of her career at large agencies where she excelled at large-scale brand management. Her deep experience in all parts of production and creative services (broadcast, print or digital) makes her an invaluable member of the Go Think! team.

She holds a Bachelors degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Anna has worked on major brands such as Verizon, Minute Maid and Texaco, as well as many Houston-based retail and business-to-business brands.

Denise Worrell, Creative Direction & Brand Identity
Worrell began her advertising career at Ogilvy & Mather, and over the next five years added her talent to J. Walter Thompson, Bates Southwest, and Brouillard Communications. As an art director, she is adept at drawing great creative out of strategically sound concepts and has produced award-winning work for scores of well-known accounts including Popeye’s, Verizon Wireless, Shell, Pfiezer, and Chili’s. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin.

Additionally, Liz is our resident emarketing expert. She has successfully managed a variety of online tools such as emails, viral, text messaging, social networking and blogging.

Shannon Otermat, Independent Public Relations Consultant
With nearly 15 years of public relations experience, Otermat specializes in media relations, community relations, issues management, crisis public relations, and employee communications. She excels in the development and execution of multi-faceted communication efforts and has created impactful campaigns for world-famous brands such as Anheuser Busch, Pfizer, Verizon Wireless, Minute Maid, BMC Software, Mirage Resorts/Beau Rivage, Popeye’s Chicken and Biscuits, and the Houston Super Bowl XXXVIII Host Committee. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the
University of Houston.
